We were so happy to come. We don’t get out much these days, what with the chickens and the garden and all. But shucks, we wouldn’t have missed it for the world.
That party you threw was somethin’ else. So many folks, good food. That potato salad was mighty fine, just sayin’. And the music! Got my old bones movin’, I tell ya. It was a real thank you for inviting us kind of time.

You know, it’s not every day you get invited to a shindig like that. Most days, it’s just me and the old man, sittin’ on the porch, watchin’ the world go by. So, it was a real treat. We had such a good time. Thank you for inviting us.
Such a Wonderful Time
Seein’ all them young folks dancin’ and carryin’ on, reminded me of when I was a girl. Time sure does fly, don’t it? But it was nice, real nice, to be part of it all again. Thank you, thank you.
And your place, oh my! So nice and tidy. You’ve done real good for yourself. It was just wonderful to see. You must have worked real hard for it. Made us feel so special, thank you for inviting us. We were so glad to be there and see your new place.
We talked about it all the way home. How nice everyone was, how good the food was, how much fun we had. It was a real highlight of our week, I can tell you that. And we don’t get many highlights these days.

You’re such a good friend to think of us. We’re just two old folks, but you made us feel like a king and queen. Thank you for inviting us. We’re so grateful to you. It was just the best time. I can’t thank you enough for this.
We haven’t had that much fun in ages. It was good for the soul, you know? Just to laugh and talk and be with people. We don’t get much of that anymore. It’s a real blessin’, that’s what it is. A real blessin’.
And to see you so happy, well, that just warmed my heart. You deserve all the good things, honey. You’re a good person, and we’re lucky to know you. It was great to see you and your family. Thank you for inviting us.
Just Wonderful
It was just a wonderful, wonderful time. We’ll remember it for a long time to come. And to think you did it all for us. Just to make us happy. You didn’t need to, but you did. It means the world to us that you invited us. It really made us so happy to be included.
So, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you for inviting us. It meant more than you know. I hope you know just how much we enjoyed ourselves. We can’t thank you enough. If you ever need a hand with anything, anything at all, you just let us know. We’d be happy to help, just to repay your kindness.
We hope to see you again soon. Maybe you can come over to our place sometime. It ain’t much, but you’re always welcome. We would love to have you over. And we make a mean apple pie, if I do say so myself.
