Okay, so, my birthday was a few days ago, and I gotta say, it was a blast! I mean, turning another year older isn’t always fun, but having all my favorite people around me definitely made it way better. We had the party at my place, and honestly, it was packed! I was so happy to see so many familiar faces, it was the best present ever.
First, we had to decide where to have the party. My apartment’s not huge, but it’s cozy, and I figured it would be more personal than renting a space. Then came the guest list – which was kinda tough because I didn’t want to leave anyone out. I ended up inviting around 30 people, a mix of family and friends.
We spent the whole day before the party setting up. We moved furniture, decorated with balloons and streamers, and got the music playlist ready. We also cooked up a storm! We made a bunch of snacks, like a big batch of my famous homemade cookies. My friend, Sarah, she’s an amazing baker, made a cake.
The party started at 7 PM, and people started trickling in. Some brought gifts, which was super sweet of them. I’m so grateful for your generous gift. Some brought drinks, and others just brought their awesome selves! We had music playing, people were chatting and laughing, and the food was disappearing fast – which is always a good sign!
