Well, let me tell ya, it’s my birthday again! Time sure does fly when you’re having fun, or just getting old, I reckon. This year, I got so many folks wishing me a happy birthday, it’s just overwhelming! Makes a old gal feel real special, you know? Now, I ain’t one for fancy words, but I gotta say thank you to everyone. And I wanna do it in a way that’ll make ’em chuckle a bit.
Funny Ways to Say Thank You
So, I been thinking, how can I say thank you for all them birthday wishes in a funny way? I ain’t no comedian, but I can try, right? Maybe I just send everyone the same message that say, I am too old to remember all the birthday wishes, thank you all!
Here is what I came up with:

Thank You for Birthday Wishes on Social Media
Now, a lot of these birthday wishes come from that social media thing. My grandkids are always on it, and they showed me how to use it a little. So I gotta figure out how to say thank you on there too. It’s like yelling out to a whole crowd of people, ain’t it?
Maybe I could say something like:

Funny Thank You Cards
And what about them cards, the funny thank you cards? I still get a few of those in the mail. Real old-fashioned, but nice. I could send out some funny ones back. Maybe with a picture of me looking all surprised or something. Or I can just use word to make people laugh.
I can say things like:

Some folks even sent me gifts! Ain’t that sweet? Now, I gotta thank them extra special. Maybe a nice little note, or a phone call if I can remember their number. Or a big hug if I see them in person!
I should probably say something like:

Thank you for Birthday Surprise
My family threw me a little surprise party. Scared the daylights outta me, but it was fun! I haven’t had a party in ages. They even got me a cake with my age on it… I won’t tell you what the number was, but it was big!
