Okay, so today I wanted to do something a little different, something that’s been on my mind for a while now. I’ve always loved flowers, you know? The way they look, the way they smell, all of it. And I also have a thing for writing little notes and letters. So, I thought, why not combine the two? That’s how this whole “flowers and notes” project started.

First, I went out and got myself some flowers. I didn’t really have a plan, just picked out whatever caught my eye. Ended up with some roses, some lilies, and a bunch of other stuff I couldn’t even name. I wanted a good mix, you see? Different colors, different shapes, different vibes. Then I got some nice paper and a few different pens, because, you know, options are important.
Back home, I cleared off my desk and started messing around with the flowers. Tried arranging them in different ways, just playing around to see what looked good. It’s kind of therapeutic, you know? Just moving things around, seeing what works. No pressure, just having fun with it. I probably spent a good hour just doing that, and I ended up with a few different arrangements that I was pretty happy with.
Then came the hard part – writing the notes. I wanted each note to kind of match the flower arrangement it was going with, if you know what I mean. Like, the roses, I figured those are kind of romantic, so I wrote a little love note to go with them. For the lilies, which are more elegant, I wrote something a bit more thoughtful, more reflective. It was tough, not gonna lie. It’s easy to just write whatever, but to actually write something that feels meaningful, that’s a whole other thing.
- Started with a simple “thinking of you” message for one of the smaller arrangements.
- Then I tried to write something a bit more poetic for the bigger bouquet, but it ended up sounding kind of cheesy, so I scrapped that and went with something more straightforward.
- For the last one, I just wrote about how much I love flowers and how they make me feel.
After I was done writing, I paired each note with its corresponding flower arrangement. It was kind of cool to see it all come together, you know? The flowers and the words, they kind of complemented each other. I took some pictures of each pair, just for myself, as a little memory of the day.
It was a fun little project, something to do on a lazy Sunday afternoon. Didn’t really have a point, I guess, other than just to do something creative. It was nice to just get lost in the process, you know? No deadlines, no pressure, just me, some flowers, and some paper. Maybe I’ll do it again sometime, with different flowers and different notes. Who knows?
Anyway, that’s my little story about my flowers and notes project. Hope you enjoyed it. It wasn’t some big, elaborate thing, but it was fun, and that’s what matters, right? And that’s all for today’s share.
