Thank You Message to the Pastor and His Wife
First off, thank you for always being there. Like when my old man was sick, you came right over. Sat with us and prayed. That meant the world to me, it did.
And the missus, she brought over that casserole. Lord, that was good eatin’. Just what we needed.
- Thank you for loving our young’uns.
- Thank you for teaching them about God.
- You make church fun for ’em.
Pastor, you always know what to say. Like that time I was worried sick about my boy. You told me to trust in the Lord. And you know what? I did, and it all worked out. You were right.
Appreciation for Pastor’s Wife
Now, his wife, she’s a gem. Always smilin’, always helpin’. She teaches the Sunday school, you know. The kids just love her. She’s got a way with ’em.

She’s always there for us ladies, too. Got a problem? She’ll listen. Need a shoulder to cry on? She’s there. She’s a true friend, that one.

These two, they give so much. Their time, their love, their everything. And they don’t ask for nothin’ in return. That’s just how they are. Good people, through and through.
They show us God’s grace, every single day. They care about us, they really do. We’re lucky to have ’em.

You’re like a light, shinin’ in the darkness. You show us the way to God. You’re an inspiration, you are. To all of us.

We gotta serve ’em, too. Pray for ’em. Help ’em out when they need it. That’s what we gotta do. They are always there for us, we should always be there for them.
Like when they needed help at the church picnic. We all pitched in, didn’t we? That’s what it’s all about. Helpin’ each other out.
