Okay, so I wanted to share how I made those birthday invitations on WhatsApp. It’s actually pretty easy, and I think it’s way cooler than sending out paper invites.

First, I opened up WhatsApp on my phone. Then, I thought about who I wanted to invite. I already had a group chat going with some of my closest friends, so I decided to use that. I tapped on the group name at the top to open up the group settings.

In the settings, I found an option that says “Invite via link”. I tapped on that, and it gave me a few choices. I could send the link directly through WhatsApp, copy the link, or share it through other apps.

  • Send link via WhatsApp: This lets you send the invite link directly to individual contacts or other groups within WhatsApp. It’s great for a more personalized touch.
  • Copy link: This copies the invite link to your clipboard. You can then paste it anywhere you want, like in an email or on social media.
  • Share link: This option opens up your phone’s sharing menu, allowing you to share the link through various apps like email, messaging, or social media platforms.

I chose to “Send link via WhatsApp” because I wanted to keep it within the app. I sent the link to a few individual friends and also to another group chat I had. After I sent the link, I crafted a fun message to go along with it.

Here’s an example message I came up with and sent:

“Hey everyone! It’s my birthday soon, and I’m throwing a party! 🎉 Come celebrate with me on [Date] at [Time] at [Location]. It’s gonna be a blast! 😄 Click the link below to join the party group and let me know if you can make it. Can’t wait to see you all there! 😊”

And that’s it! My friends started joining the group through the link, and we started planning the party details in the chat. It was super convenient, and everyone seemed to like the idea of a WhatsApp invitation.

I think sending birthday invites on WhatsApp is a great way to keep things organized and get everyone excited about the party. Plus, it’s way more environmentally friendly than paper invitations. Give it a try for your next birthday bash!
