Okay, so I’ve been meaning to get better at showing my appreciation, and what better way than with some good old-fashioned thank you notes? I decided to go a bit further and make them Christian-themed, since faith is a big part of my life and the relationships I’m thankful for.

Getting Started
First, I needed to figure out what I wanted these notes to look like. I am not a designer people, just do it.
- Cardstock:I went simple.I chose some cream-colored cardstock.
- Envelopes: Matching envelopes, obviously. Nothing fancy.
The Fun Part: Writing!
This is where I really put my heart into it. I didn’t want generic messages. I wanted each note to be personal and reflect my relationship with the person I was thanking.
I started each note by addressing the person by name. And I tried to be specific about what I was thankful for.
For example, instead of just saying “Thanks for being a great friend,” I tried things like:
- “I’m so grateful for your friendship, especially for your listening ear and words when I went to your home last week…”
- “Thank you for always being such a positive influence in my life. I really appreciate…”
- “I’m so blessed to have you in my life. You’re always supporting me in everything…”
Then, I tried to weave in a little bit of faith.I closed with a simple prayer or blessing, something like:
- “May God continue to bless you and your family.”
- “Praying for continued peace and joy in your life.”
- “I’m so thankful that God brought us together.”
Finishing Touches
I wrote all the messages with pen, sealed the envelopes, and done!
It’s a super simple thing,It took a little time and effort, but I think it’s a really meaningful way to show appreciation and share my faith at the same time. I’m hoping these little notes brighten some days!
